Mr. Roberts has more than 30 years experience working for non-profit environmental organizations including Greenpeace, Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund, and Toxics Action Center as both a paid employee/director and as a volunteer in advisory positions. As part of his work with these environmental organizations, Mr. Roberts has gained significant experience raising funds for non-profit endeavors. Additionally, Mr. Roberts has raised funds for national, state and local political candidates for more than 2 decades.


Garret G. Whitney, Treasurer, is a Director of Worthy Causes, Inc. Mr. Whitney is a self-employed Certified Advanced Rolfer, and has been employed in the health services field for 25 years. Mr. Whitney has 5 years experience with non-profit organizations, serving as both a board member and in volunteer advisory positions. He also has years of experience in non-profit fundraising for general operating expenses and specific campaigns.

James Matz, Secretary, is a Director of Worthy Causes, Inc. Mr. Matz is a Licensed Site Professional employed by Environmental Compliance Services, Inc., of Wakefield, Massachusetts. He has served as a volunteer for numerous fundraising efforts and philanthropies during the past 20 years. His most recent efforts include having provided volunteer services for the Special Olympics, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Stoneham Theatre, in Stoneham, Massachusetts.

Heidi Framer s the Administrative Director of Worthy Causes, Inc. Ms. Framer is a legal assistant at the law firm of McRoberts, Roberts & Rainer, LLP, located at 53 State Street, Boston, Massachusetts, (617) 722-8222, www.mcrobertslaw.com. During the last 4 years, she has served as a volunteer for the National MS Society fundraising for the MS Challenge Walk. While planning the Boston Night to Save Darfur, she quickly became the point contact person for the Steering and Organizing Committees.
